R-Design launches Pelican Pointe Resort website

Pelican Pointe Resort, the newly renovated condominium hotel on Clearwater Beach, Florida has just gone live with its new website.

The Pelican Pointe Resort features 1 bedroom and studio units. The property is located right across the street from a wide stretch of white sand beach. Almost 3/4 of the units at the Pelican Pointe Resort have a water view. In addition, the property is within easy walking distance to many of the activities that Clearwater Beach has to offer.

R-Design worked with Travel Resort Services, Inc, the Madeira Beach property management company that manages Pelican Pointe Resort, to develop the relatively simple, low cost web design. Ideally, the site will attract visitors through the search engines as well as vacation rental sites. The goal is to give vacationers more informtion about the Pelican Pointe Resort than they would get from a brief paragraph on a travel portal. If they like what they see on the travel portal’s site, they can simply click to visit the Pelican Pointe Resort site to get more information and make their reservations.

More options in Tampa Bay phone services

According to the St. Petersburg Times, Bright House and Verizon have now reached an agreement that will allow consumers in the Tampa Bay area to “mix and match” services for the best deal.

Now, Verizon’s DSL customers can switch to a different phone service without dropping their DSL package with Verizon. For instance, Verizon’s DSL service is actually cheaper than Brighthouse’s broadband internet service, but Brighthouse’s digital phone service (offering unlimited local and long distance calls) is less expensive than Verizon’s Freedom plan.

Overall, the new deal allows Tampa Bay consumers the ability to choose the services they want without being tied to a specific provider, but you’ll still need Verizon landline service if you want Verizon DSL unless you live in an aprtment complex served by Verizon Avenue. Verizon does plan to offer standalone DSL service later this year.
